Lila’s Inspiration

Lila tiptoed into her father’s bedroom during his afternoon nap and immersed herself in that colorful, mystical light, pretending she was on a fairytale movie set. Sunlight streamed through the sheer fabric, painting the room in shifting hues of amber and jade. Their texture brushed against her cheek as she hid behind them, her heart pounding each time she sensed her father stirring—fearing that he would end her play if she interrupted his rest time. For a while, she kept that secret moment to herself, until one day, he revealed that he was watching her play all along, a gentle smile on his face.
Overseas, Lila stumbled upon a few dusty and dimly lit treasure warehouses and decided to revive these textured gems, sourcing vintage fabrics like the ones that sparked her childhood imagination. Undeterred, Lila carefully unfurled rolls of forgotten fabric born in Finland, Belgium, Italy, and France—each whispering stories of the past.
Today, she envisions transforming these forgotten treasures into garments, curtains, and other whimsical creations, each a portal to a world of wonder—inviting others to come across the enchantment she experienced as a child.
